Informational use
Hoopsline is an entertainment and informational service. Predictions, confidence scores, and supporting factors are estimates, not guarantees or professional financial advice.
Eligibility and account responsibility
You must be at least 18 years old and meet any higher legal-age requirement in your jurisdiction to use Hoopsline. You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your sign-in credentials, and activity performed through your account.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
- Do not use automated requests in a way that degrades access for other users.
- Do not represent a Hoopsline projection as a guaranteed outcome.
Availability and model limits
Hoopsline uses artificial intelligence, machine-learning models, statistical methods, and automated data processing to generate and explain projections. These outputs are estimates, may be incomplete or incorrect, are not reviewed by a human before every display, and must not be treated as guaranteed outcomes. Roster, schedule, statistical, and performance data can also be delayed or incomplete.
User content and community standards
If you submit feedback, support messages, profile images, or other content, you retain ownership of that content and grant Hoopsline a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and display it only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
- Do not submit illegal, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, deceptive, infringing, or privacy-violating material.
- Hoopsline may review, filter, restrict, or remove submitted content and suspend accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms or protect users.
- Report objectionable content or conduct through account support. Hoopsline will review reports and take appropriate action.
You are responsible for content you submit. Hoopsline does not endorse user-submitted content and is not responsible for opinions or claims made by users, to the extent permitted by law.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hoopsline and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or losses arising from reliance on a projection.
Informal resolution and binding arbitration
Before starting a formal dispute, you and Hoopsline agree to send written notice through account support and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute for at least 30 days.
Except for eligible small-claims matters or requests for temporary injunctive relief involving misuse, security, or intellectual property, any dispute arising from these terms or the service will be resolved by individual binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its applicable Consumer Arbitration Rules. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this provision. Arbitration will take place remotely unless the arbitrator determines that an in-person hearing is necessary.
No class actions or jury trial. Disputes must be brought individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. You and Hoopsline waive the right to a jury trial to the extent permitted by law.
Thirty-day opt out. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days after first accepting these terms by sending a support message that includes your name, account email, and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect other terms.
If a portion of this arbitration section is unenforceable, the remaining portions remain effective, except that an unenforceable class-action waiver makes this entire arbitration section inapplicable to that proceeding.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where federal law applies or your local law requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change as Hoopsline adds or revises features. The updated date above will change whenever the terms are revised.
