Information used by Hoopsline
Hoopsline collects the account and usage data needed to provide the service. This can include your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, profile image, account identifiers, saved preferences, prediction activity, purchase and subscription status, push-notification token, device and browser information, diagnostics, ratings, and information you send through support.
How that information is used
- Authenticate your account and keep it secure.
- Deliver predictions, save account preferences, and apply plan limits.
- Send notifications you choose to receive and respond to support requests.
- Monitor reliability, diagnose errors, and improve the product.
- Generate AI-assisted basketball projections and supporting explanations.
- Prevent fraud, enforce usage limits, and protect the service.
Service providers and sharing
Hoopsline uses service providers to operate the product, including Supabase for authentication, database, and storage; Stripe for payment processing; messaging providers for email or SMS verification; Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications when enabled; and basketball data providers. These providers process information for the services they supply. Hoopsline does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Mobile privacy disclosures
For Apple App Store and Google Play disclosures, account contact information, identifiers, user content, purchases, product interaction, and diagnostics may be collected and linked to your account for app functionality, account management, analytics, fraud prevention, and support. Hoopsline does not use this information to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Retention and security
Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for account operation, legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and enforcement. Hoopsline uses access controls and encrypted network connections, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your controls
You can update account details, change notification preferences, and request account deletion through your account settings. Hoopsline does not sell personal information.
When an account is deleted, Hoopsline may retain a limited record of the former account holder’s name, email address, phone number, deletion date, and recent pick usage for fraud prevention, abuse prevention, enforcement of usage limits, and account restoration. This retained record is not displayed publicly and is not used to keep the deleted login active.
Age eligibility
Hoopsline is intended for users 18 years of age or older. The service is not directed to children, and Hoopsline does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Updates to this notice
This notice may change as Hoopsline adds features or service providers. The updated date above will change whenever the notice is revised.
